FINN * FINS - Fish Pillows
We live in the small rural Wisconsin community of Oulu. It was settled by people who came from the region around Oulu, Finalnd. It's a beautiful place with plenty of trees and rivers very near the Southern shores of Great Lake Superior. These Finnish settlers were so reminded of their homeland that they chose to name this new place after them home the had left.
The very first "FIN*FIN" was originally for my Finnish grandfather who loved to fish. Each year for his birthday I tried to come up with a unique gift based upon his love of fishing. I enjoyed making them so much that I have continued to develop them and now am making then available for sale. They each have their own personality and come in an endless, ever-changing array of fabrics and colors.
